Local News from West Branch High School

Project Prom 2013 is up and running to help local young ladies find affordable dresses and prom attire! Project Prom is a community service project organized by the students of West Branch High School. The goal of the project is to make prom affordable to all girls. We collect gently used dresses and distribute them FREE to any girl from any school. We may also help with shoes, hair, nails, and accessories.

Have any old/gently used Prom dresses?

Donate them to Project Prom!

Meet our Team of Stylists

Most know Brandy from our customer service desk. Brandy had planned to move away from Salem, but decided to stay! Hurray for us!  She is a full time stylists now at Natural Solutions. Brandy will be enjoying a new baby boy this October. Why not come in and experience her great service skills before her big day!!

We want to welcome Michele Tomlin, formerly of Smart Cut in Salem. Michele graduated from the Columbiana County Career Center in 1989, and currently has 23 years of experience in both hair and spa services. She also carries her Cosmetology instructors license, where she served 10 years at Raphaels Beauty School in Alliance, Ohio. She has had extensive training with Paul Mitchell, Matrix and the Sassoon Academy with both Advanced Cutting and Color Techniques. Michele specializes in hair cuts and styles, color, highlights, manicures, artificial nails, make up, updo's and waxing. We are so excited to have her here!

Jesenia Hall is another of our professional stylists. Jesenia has been developing her craft in the area of nail artistry, haircut and style, color and prom looks, and many of our clients have enjoyed her services thus far.  Jesenia is our Junior stylist. She can offer customers who are on a tight budget a great service for less, and at the same time, you can help finish out her training.

Come visit us May 5, 2012 for our Annual Spring Open House. We will be offering shopping discounts and drawings from 12:30 to 5pm. Those who want to come to our store early to donate their hair to the Locks Of Love Organization, may do so between 10 and 1pm.

We will offer a drawing for several bareEscentual items, as well as other free gifts during the event.  Those who want to donate their hair to Locks of Love, must have at least 10 inches to donate, unlayered.  Contact us to schedule your appointment today and show your support for this great organization.

Come visit us at the Salem Community Centers "Women's Night Out" Event scheduled for March 28, 2012 from 4-9pm!

There will be over 80 vendors from the local area representing their companies, as well as speakers presenting their knowledge about living well offering break out sessions for full discussion.  A dinner will be offered for those attending. Contact the Salem Community Center for more information.

Come visit us at the Alliance Carnation Mall "Fall In Love" Bridal Fair scheduled for October 8, 2011 from 10-5pm!

Many wonderful event coordinators will be present, caterers and more. View their bridal show at 3pm. Each table will offer bridal gift registry as well as Natural Solutions. We are offering a $50.00 gift to all those brides who sign up.

Natural Solutions is excited to let our local customers know that we now have a larger, dedicated area for our Bare Escentuals brand. We had to, as we are getting ready for their expansion of "Ready".  What's "Ready"? Come on in and find out.

Since two large retailers have now come into our area carrying Bare products, we wanted to let you know what feedback we've received.  Many have expressed appreciation for our kind customer service.  Many are saying that we by far, have the biggest selection!  They are saying how excited they are that we are here because we have that small town warmth with the big city appeal. Why don't you make it a point to come in and check out our updates today!

Natural Solutions is also expanding their services.  Currently we have a professional make up artist who provides Make Up Artistry services. We are in the process of adding professional manicure and pedicure services, as well as eye brow waxing. Natural Solutions was featured on local WKBN TV during the month of December 2010.  Owner, Jennifer Reed explained the benefits of using raw fruits and vegetables in topical applications for skin and body care treatments.

Sandra Kelsey formerly from Bare Escentuals visited our location at the end of November.  We look forward to having her visit again.  She gifted wonderful cosmetic items to our customers after they checked out as a special way of thanking them for coming and using Bare Mineral and Rare Mineral items.  Sandra is pictured below to the left.
