Real Purity® products are
pure products that came about from the work of Virginia Easterling Jenkins. The
product line was the result of Virginia's work at the J-Rich Clinic in
Ypsilanti, Michigan.
From years of working with many people and helping them to better health, beauty
and wellness and realizing the connection between environment, nutrition and
what we put into and unto our bodies, Virginia became a pioneer in the
development and manufacture of natural products including the first “natural
make-up.”
Real Purity® is a small, personal company. We do not have a marketing division
or an advertising program. We do however, have a desire and commitment to work
hard and diligently to develop and manufacture products of the highest quality;
with superior ingredients and formulations for our customers. We feel that the
results from using our products speak for themselves much better than any type
of advertising program could.
Real Purity® has never been involved with animal testing of any kind whatsoever.
When we first spoke out against animal testing over twenty years ago, many
people were unaware that cosmetics were tested using animals.
We developed the first totally natural mascara and saw many women that had
chronic eyelid infections (blepharitis) clear up practically overnight.
Blepharitis is the inflammation of the edges of the eyelid margins, which over a
period of time can lead to more serious problems including small ulcerated
pockets on the lid margin. Real Purity® was not only the very first company to
manufacture lipstick that did not contain toxic FD&C colors, but that did not
contain isopropyl myristate as well. This was long, long before any one had
suggested that isopropyl alcohol and isopropyl myristate were contributors to
the metastatic process in cancer.
The commitment to using plants, natural minerals and safe earth ingredients in
our formulas rather than synthetic ingredients and petrochemicals that are much
cheaper and easier to work with, is the same commitment that Virginia made years
ago and that we continue to live by to this day.
One unfailing principle that became a hallmark of Virginia's work and Real
Purity® products, is the care and responsible stewardship of our environment and

"If you are looking for a natural foundation,
this is wonderful. Most foundations make my skin burn, itch, and
breakout, this is the only one that not only solves that, but
also works well. It is a little sticky at first, but that goes
away within a minute or two. Just can't say enough wonderful

have only tried the mattes to go for some of the really cool
shimmer ones. Some of the best are white shimmer (near the brow

If you come to our boutique in person, you will
experience one on one assistance. We discuss your skin needs,
consider different product lines, and if we aren't sure if an
item is the perfect fit, we will give you samples to try for a
week to help you decide. If the product is not right, we will
consider other lines. This is one of the features that
makes our boutique different. We've been offering this
service online for years. We've had customers travel thru
from Florida, California, Illinois and other destinations.
The common feeling is that they really loved their visit, they
felt welcome and were frankly overwhelmed by all we offer.
